SMTCL produced first set of radial drilling machine in China, has more than seventy years' rich experience, well-known in the market. Z series are mainly applied to the machine work as drilling, reaming, reaming plane and tapping on large and medium-size casting and steel workpieces. High rigidity, priority stability, and has exported to more than 80 countries and areas overseas.

The machine is applied to hole drilling, expanding and reaming, spot facing and tapping on big/medium metal work-pieces. Mainly its operation actions are to be done through the parts on its headstock, such as buttons and handles. 

The arm can rotate±180°around internal pillar, as driven by the external pillar. 

The arm is lifted up and lower down along the externed pillar. 

The headstock moves to left or right along the arm guide. 

The headstock serves the functions of main spindle speed change, feeding and other operations. The speed range covers 16 speed rated, and each of them can be got by means of rotating the had-wheel. 

The motor on the top of pillar drives the leadscrew nut so as to lift up or lower down the arm. A safety nut is mounted on the lifting nut to make sure that the arm will be unable to fall down abruptly.
